Indigenous Horse Breeders (IHB), an organization dedicated to the preservation, development, and improvement of the Desi Horse Breed of Pakistan. Founded by the renowned horseman Malik Naeem Awan, IHB has been at the forefront of promoting and enhancing the unique qualities of the Desi Horse Breed.
At IHB, we believe in the importance of preserving the rich heritage and cultural significance of the Desi Horse Breed, which has been an integral part of Pakistani tradition for centuries. Through our efforts, we have conducted numerous horse shows and awareness campaigns to educate the public about the importance of horse breeding and to enhance the breed standards of the indigenous breed.
In 2024, IHB has taken a significant step towards solidifying the Desi Horse Breed as one of the best up-and-coming horse breeds in the world by initiating the registration process. This historic milestone will further validate the exceptional qualities of the Desi Horse Breed and ensure its continued recognition on a global scale.
